How about the makeup look?  I say YES! You can achieve this look in 5 easy steps!

Step 1: Start with a clean face.  Then add moistuizer and primer.

Step 2: Apply foundation all over.  Conceal where needed.

Step 3: Add lime green shadow like ink...cosmetics shimmer shadow in Aqua Marine on the lid keeping your brow area clean.  Shadow available now at W Salon.

Step 4: Liner the top of your eyes with black liquid liner extending the line outward. Pick extreme long lashes and apply with black lash glue. Line your inner rim with white liner. Top with black mascara.

Step 5: Apply a bubble gum colored lipgloss!

Enjoy the night and if your scared of catching something at the VMAs, grab your couture hospital mask!

I have had the privilege of knowing Indashio for over four years now.  Indashio is by far my biggest and most supportive client and friend.  At this point he is practically family!  I have and will continue to thank him for always allowing me to stay true to my creative artistic ability and for allowing me to continue providing his Celebrity clientele with fearless, sexy and flawless looks.  We at ink...cosmetics are so excited to work with him again this year and can't wait to see what he has in store for all the Indashio fans.

The time has come!  Lashes made, makeup ready, brushes cleaned, hair fixed, mani/pedi appointment complete and a guest list to die for!  I don't know where to begin!  Who has time for a blog post with an event this big starting in less than 8 hours.  AAAHHH!  So excited and thankful all the support from everyone!  Thank you GOD for allowing me the time, skills, and resources to put on such a fabulous event!  I hope to see all of you there and look forward to meeting new fashionable people tonight!

I know I was suppose to be "counting" down the days but let me tell you, it has been cuckoo for cocoa puffs this week!  Let me start with this... I had to take care of some legal aspects upon arriving home from training, then await the delivery of my swag bags via UPS, knock out two photo shoots over the weekend, and complete the launch dry run just to name a few tasks.  I haven't....finished straightening things out around the house for my fabulous mother, "JOE C." to arrive this Friday but I have been pretty swamped.  Not complaining at all! 

The dry run went great!  I am so pleased to work with the L2 Lounge in Georgetown, DC.  They have been fantastic!  All the respective sponsors have their areas completed, confirmed, and in order.  I couldn't ask for a better group of professionals!  I am so looking forward to our FIRST retail launch event!  I can't wait to share some of the  ink...cosmetics looks for S/S 2012 with the fashionable people of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia)! 

We hope you can make the event.  For now, get a sneak peak of the new ink...couture eye accessories.  Just a little glitz for the glamorous!

We are so pleased and excited about our official launch scheduled in 10 days (August 20th, 2011) at the L2 Lounge in Georgetown, DC.  I will be posting a blog each day with what is happening in the world of ink...cosmetics to give you an inside look at what it took to make the event epic and unforgettable.

What's happening now?

MILITARY TRAINING:

I am still in a military combat training course and between fighting simulated opposing forces and combating the insects and the heat, while continuing meetings via emails and phone to finalize all the necessary pieces for a seamless and successful launch event.

I have about another 2 hours before we gear up for a simulated Southwest Asian mission and pray we all come back with zero casualties! This is my last week here and I am ready to head home. We have a great team and I know we will do well!

LAUNCH PREP:

Everything seems to be in place for the ink...cosmetics launch! Thank GOD!  I am so pleased to be surrounded by such professional people!  As you see in the invite, this is a FREE event!  We have put together beauty necessities for our FREE I <3 ink...cosmetics swag bags.  Get there early!  Bags are available only the first 100 guests!  

We have brought in some of the best companies in the DC area together in order to showcase the faces of ink...!  The launch will be the official welcome of ink...cosmetics as a retailed product. 

First, I want to thank each one of the companies as a whole cultivated creative team for all the hard work they have done to assist in support of my vision.  THANK YOU! May you all continue to be blessed with your successes as well!

I will showcase each company on my blog as a tribute and credit to them for their time and efforts!

The music for the show is picked, the special performance by amazing Grammy Nominated Recording Artist Carolyn Malachi is highly anticipated, and everyone is finishing up their respective pieces of the puzzle.

Models are set and confirmed and I am so looking forward to enhancing their already beautiful faces!  I will showcase each of them as well in the next few weeks to come.  Thank you ladies for your continued support!

THE LOOKS:

I have received emails over the last month asking what do I have in store for our faces of ink...  Well, honestly, I have been combing over some ideas and don't want to spoil the fun by disclosing too much information.  I know I will feature some one of a kind Makeup Accessories by ink... and high pigmented trends at a minimum.

The purpose of this launch is to showcase just some of the capabilities of our skincare and cosmetics line, which has been formulated for multi-purpose results for both men and women.  We are also using this event to meet with other Fashion industry professionals in and around the DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
