The look I am love at the moment primarily because of this week’s Miss Sinergy, Beauty Is Skin Deep Charity Fashion Event for skin cancer at which will be held March 4, 2011 at the French Embassy in DC… is Designer ETRO’s smoky lilac eyes, peach cheek, and coral nude lip!  OMG!

Get this super easy Spring 2011 look:

1. Start with a clean and moisturized face.

2. Use a silky satin finish foundation as a base.

3. Add a darker foundation to contour the sides of your nose and underneath your cheekbones.

4. Using a fan style brush add a peachy matte blush on the sides of your cheeks brushing toward the apple of your cheeks. Highlight your cheeks with a little golden shimmer.

5. Add shadow base on your lids, then using a flat shadow brush pat on a matte lilac shadow all over the lid. Take a round fluff shadow brush with the same color and add the shadow all the way around the eye.

6. Curl lashes with a lash curler to open the eye.

7. Add jet black mascara on the top and bottom lashes

8. Lightly brush brows with a matching shadow color to fill them in very slightly.

9. Line lips with a coral liner.

10. Top lips with a nude toned super shine lip gloss.

Have fun with this look! Be creative with it and use a completely opposite colored liner to line the entire upper and lower rim of your yes. Try using forest green or navy blue and see which one you like best! XOXO Besos! Anna C.

Designer: TSYNDYMA!

Photo: David Sean Lewis
Designer: TSYNDYMA
Hair/MUA: Anna Castillo

While most girls at the age of 7 were playing with their dolls, Tsyndyma was already designing and making her own dresses. Majoring in mechanical engineering in college she continued to pursue fashion design and soon developed a clientele of fellow students. Precision, attention to detail, and ability to visually construct three-dimensional images from drawing were not only essential skills for a mechanical engineer but also defined and distinguished her as fashion designer. Soon she turned to full time design work. After maintaining a celebrity clientele in Moscow and Paris Tsyndyma decided to leave behind the uncertainties of post- Soviet Russia to pursue opportunities in America. Settling in Washington DC she initially continued as a couture dressmaker and subsequently launched her own line of ready-to-wear " uniquely simple" design. Combining carefully selected luxurious fabrics and precisely constructed pattern she brings to life the youthful energy, comfort and elegance required by today's women. Drawing inspirations from the latest fabric technologies she surprises with unexpected combinations of textures, cuts, and techniques that nevertheless evoke a unique sense of balance. Tsyndyma also designed a line of luxury Alpaca sweaters produced in Peru. Today, Tsyndyma's fashion designs have attracted a faithful and growing following from the diplomatic corps to corporate executives, from college co-eds to community leaders. In addition, Tsyndyma actively gives back to causes that are close to her heart by donating pro bono time and fashion wear to many fashion driven charity events in the Washington DC area. She is a regular on the DC Fashion Week circuit and her models have strutted the runways of a number of high profile events including International Passport to Style charity benefit for www.copticorphans.org, Couture for a Cure for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Women of the Year, Fashion for Hope 2009 for the www.womenforwomen.org, Pink Jams! Breast cancer charity event www.pinkjams.com, Beauty is Skin Deep charity for Skin Cancer www.MissSinergy.com to name but a few. http://www.tsyndymaonline.com/

Get the Manish Arora Spring 2011 Makeup Look!

Photo Courtesy of IMAXtree.com and Davide Gallizio

Manish Arora used the term "futuristic baroque" to describe his Spring collection. I fell in love with this dramatic and futuristic concept.  Here are the easy backstage instructions to achieve this look at home.

Step 1:  Clean and moisturize your face.

Step 2:  Dab concealer on the "needed only" areas!  You don't need a lot of foundation and concealer for  this look.

Step 3:  Start eyes first. Using matte shadow colors you will need: cream or off-white, navy, tangerine or bright orange.

Cream: Swipe a cream colored matte eye shadow all over your lid.

Navy: Ensuring you stay above the eyelid, use an angled shadow brush to apply the navy shadow from the center of your nose and sweep outward toward the outside corner of your eye. Be sure to follow the contour and shape of your eyes.

Wait to add the tangerine color.

Step 4:  Tape off the areas you want skin to show through.  See image below.

Step 5:
Tangerine:  Use a small shadow brush FIRST and add the tangerine color above the navy shadow.  Blend up towards the brow.  Add a little more near the nose area to the brow line.

Step 6:  Then use a foundation brush like the one you see below and add the same tangerine color in the areas you want the color to pop.

Step 7:  Peel away the tape and add mascara to both top and bottom lashes.

Step 8:  Add a gold and clear inspired decal to the forehead.

Step 9:  Finish the look with an orange red lipstick.  Use a matching lip liner for a crisp outline and apply the lipstick with a lip brush.

Step 10:  Go out and have FUN! I would love to see your photos so please email them to me at aycastillo15@aol.com
